Account, subscriptions, profiles, and billing FAQ's

Which ToneDen tools are free to use?

Our growth tools for social unlocks, contests, and FanLinks are all available on the free plan. Pre-save FanLinks are not included for free, and require a Basic plan or higher.

What are "profiles"? How are they different from my login or my "account"?

An account is represented by your email login. For instance, one account / login would be matt@website.com.

A ToneDen account can be connected to multiple profiles. A profile might be called @matt-the-artist, or @matts-music-festival. Typically, each profile represents an artist, business, or brand you want to grow and manage using ToneDen.

A profile can be accessed by multiple accounts. For more info, see the help page for Create a team.

You can see all your accessible profiles in your account dropdown menu, by hovering your mouse over your avatar and name in the top right corner of ToneDen. Add more profiles at any time by clicking the Add A New Profile button, which appears at the bottom of that dropdown menu.

Why do I see an Eventbrite logo on the invoice, or an Eventbrite charge on my credit card bill?

ToneDen is now part of the Eventbrite product ecosystem. If you utilize Eventbrite for your event ticketing, ToneDen can now provide special Eventbrite-exclusive audience targeting types!

What does the "ad spend limit" on ToneDen mean?

"Ad spend limits" refer to the amount you spend on advertising campaigns created and managed on the ToneDen platform. On the Basic plan, you can spend up to $500/month on ads; on the Pro plan, you can spend up to $1,000/month.

Does the ToneDen subscription payment cover what I'm spending for my Meta ads?

No. Your spend on ads is connected to your Meta ad account. The cost of the subscription is separate from the amount you choose to spend on your Meta ad campaigns.

For instance, a user with a Basic plan could perhaps spend $200 on a Facebook and Instagram ad campaign that month. The user would pay $200 to Meta via the credit card that's connected to their Meta Ad Account. The user would also pay a $50 subscription fee to ToneDen, separately, through the card connected to ToneDen in their Billing settings.

Can I pay annually?

Yes! Contact support@toneden.io for more details.

Can multiple people on my team access my profiles?

Yes! Visit our Create a team help page for more details.

If I cancel my paid subscription, will I lose all my data?

No! All your past ad campaigns and links will remain in your account. However, you will not be able to edit any old campaigns that require the paid subscription.

Can I restart my subscription after cancelling it?

Yes! You can always cancel your subscription, and all your past campaigns will remain in your account until you decide to log back in and renew your subscription in the billing section here: https://www.toneden.io/settings/billing.

If you had a custom plan, please reach out to support@toneden.io so we can manually restart things for you.
