Updated 3.15.24 - Smart Link Domain Outage - Fix Instructions

How to fix your FanLinks, BigLinks, PodLinks, and TourLinks.

Update 3.15.24

  1. All Fanlink.to links have automatically been converted to Fanlink.tv.

  2. Some issues have been reported when trying to access Fanlink.tv links on slower internet connections. If you believe your Fanlink is broken, please attempt to access it on a 5G connection (whether Wi-Fi or mobile).

What's going on?

  • There is an issue with our domain provider, which is unfortunately out of our control. The domain provider has been unresponsive to the issue our users are facing.

  • We are working on a long-term solution to this problem, to be implemented as soon as possible.

What actions has ToneDen taken?

  • Paused all ads directing users to the non-functioning .to domains.

  • Implementing a notification banner in our app to inform users about the outage.

  • Temporarily disabling the creation of new FanLinks using the “.to” domains.

  • Implemented a new, stable domain using a different domain provider, fanlink.tv.

What this means for you

  1. If your campaign's Target URL is a “.to” SmartLink or if your Target URL is a SmartLink configured through a custom domain, you will need to keep your ad campaign paused. We automatically paused all campaigns routing to SmartLinks, please keep them paused!

  2. Follow these instructions: How to fix your SmartLink

  3. Start a new ad campaign and direct the Target URL to this SmartLink instead.

  4. Replace any mentions of your SmartLink on social media or website with the corrected link.

  2. Change the URL to "fanlink.tv".

  3. Continue to the "Review and Launch" step and click "Update Link".

  4. If you've posted the old URL on your social media platforms or other websites, update these URLs to new URL of your link.

  1. If you have configured a Custom Domain, you will need to update your Advanced DNS settings. Follow the instructions here: How to set up custom domains. First, go to your Advanced DNS settings in your domain provider. Where you see "fanlink.to." in your CNAME settings, change it to "fanlink.tv." Then, Delete and re-add your custom domain in your Advertising Settings in ToneDen to ensure it's configured correctly.
